One of the things that is most rewarding about working in Knowledge and Information Management is the variety of the work that I do. My day might include team meetings, discussions about user requirements and design ideas for software, training sessions for users, technical work like programming or troubleshooting, putting ideas together for graphics, coming up with business engagement strategies, and many other unique and interesting activities - all in one day!

My favourite thing to do is to think up new and exciting ways that technology can help my organisation to do things better - cutting-edge ways to help save time and money - and then getting these ideas approved, and implementing them. There?s nothing quite like it! I also get to travel all over the world, to different Austrade offices, to talk to users about what they need and to train them on new technology. I also love that I can work from home when I want to, and can work flexible hours, according to my schedule. I know that my future in this field is entirely up to me - there are a lot of opportunities, and the sky is the limit!
