I am having fun at the moment exploring different areas of the IT industry. Being a bit of a newbie to the area, I am trying lots of different roles to find my place, and what makes me the happiest to go to work. After finishing my degree I had a taste of the research side of things while completing my Honours. Now I am working in the web space in multiple roles including development, design and project management.

Currently I am working on the largest web portal installation in the Southern Hemisphere. My role is to build the information architecture and page templates for the portal from conceptual diagrams, requirements and 'blueprints'. I love it!!! I adore building things, and I find the sense of accomplishment at the end of the day makes it exciting. At the end of a hard day in the 'construction zone' I love to go home and cook and watch TV to unwind. I love food, creating dishes and trying new flavours. It is a great way to take a piece of the world and bring it into your house for people to enjoy.
