My days are spent in a pod office, where I make it my goal to talk to as many people as possible so that I don't feel like I'm in Dilbert. My work varies greatly; as enterprise architects, we plan the IT for the whole organisation, so the scope of activities is huge. I work on models for our enterprise architecture (and document the framework that it exists within); give advice on information security and information management strategy; respond to submissions or requests for review; and some days, undertake business analysis and create logical models for the concepts we develop so that systems can be designed to support them.

Outside work, I play outdoor soccer, so two nights a week are spent sweating as I run around a field wondering why I put myself through this. I also see a trainer once a week (during which time I also wonder why I'm doing it!). All this means that I can enjoy eating my way through Brisbane, in search of the best chocolate dessert, authentic Italian and Spanish tapas.
